Bill Nelson, should never have been elected in 2006

This is Senator Bill Nelson's response to the selling out of our country to the United Nations' Law of the Sea Treaty.
Thank you for contacting me regarding the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea. With bipartisan support, this treaty passed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee by a vote of 17-4. The Bush administration, Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Coast Guard, and the U.S. Navy support the ratification of the Convention on the Law of the Sea.
In addition to broad government support, the treaty has been endorsed by environmental groups and the oil, gas, and shipping industries. The treaty is critical to supporting the national security of the United States and if you believe that lie, try this on for size. In ensuring our access to waterways around the world, like who can stop us, the treaty also supports our work in preventing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction through the Proliferation Security Initiative.
It is important that we join together to help protect the rich biodiversity of the ocean and sustain its natural resources. Yes we the people not the United Nations. International cooperation is a necessity when addressing issues relating to the sea. So far, over 150 countries have ratified this treaty, and if the U.S. is not party to it, our country will not be able to participate in negotiations regarding changes in the treaty. This would then risk an erosion of our current rights to access of the sea. Who can erode our rights? Bill Nelson can do it because he will vote for the treaty.
I appreciate your views and will keep them in mind when the treaty is considered by the full Senate. I won't hold my breath.
Like we need a Law of the Sea Treaty, hey Bill no one can take away our rights to anything. With our friends in congress who needs enemies. Bill Nelson is another Globalist who believes in the sovereignty of the United Nations, illegal immigrants, and the highest Bidder in cheating the American people of our birthright.
Americans make the phone center crash. Call your congressman and vote NO TO ANY TREATY WITH THE UNITED NATIONS
