Hollywood should HELP Free Ramos and Compean

STALLONE, WOO, SPIELBERG, HELP Free Ramos and Compean:

STALLONE, WOO, SPIELBERG, HELP Free Ramos and Compean: WHY HOLLYWOOD DOES NOT MAKE A FILM ABOUT THIS CASE IS BEYOND ME. IF YOU ALL HATE BUSH MAKE THIS MOVIE. IT WILL PUT HIM IN THE ANNALS OF HISTORY AS THE DIRTY NO GOOD HE REALLY IS.

WASHINGTON – For millions of Americans, one case that leaps instantly to mind: that of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, the two imprisoned U.S. Border Patrol agents.
Ramos and Compean are serving sentences of 11 and 12 years respectively for the shooting of an illegal alien drug smuggler in the line of duty – a case that has inspired near-universal outrage and passion among Americans, including numerous U.S. congressmen who staunchly defend the two imprisoned border cops.

The jury reports that had they knew all the facts they would never have voted to convict.

Now, with just days left before President George W. Bush leaves . Many Americans have regarded the prosecution and sentencing of Ramos and Compean as nothing short of a travesty of justice:

Bush who has a legacy as good as the mold that makes penicillin, refuses to release these two heroes.

I PERSONALLY HOLD BUSH RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FALSE IMPRISONMENT OF Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean and the miscarriage of justice contnues.

Lets not forget BUSH THE MUSH, also RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENDLESS TRIALS OF OUR SOLDIERS, some commander and chief.

I completely agree with you that Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean shouldn't be in prison, where they have sat for almost 2 years in solitary confinement! Cruel and unusual punishment for violating Official Border Patrol Procedures, which is all they are guilty of and they have paid a high price already for their indiscretion. It stinks of corruption, and not on the agents side but perhaps the US Attorney. Either that or they are being used as a warning and to set an example for other border agents who have seen agent/illegal violence increasing over the years also involving BPA's shooting illegals. What other reason would Bush have to turn his cheek to them? I think everyone ELSE involved in this case should be investigated including, and especially, US Attorney Jim Sutton. Unfortunately the odds of that happening are slim to none, and none just escaped over the border. themaverickmuse.com

Our border men are denied a Bible in solitary and yet the guantanamo bay prisoners get a Koran and prayer rugs. A few of them were responsible for 9/11 directly, and they get to get fat eating real butter on the bread and prayer beads for there obsession with their cult of death.

A movie would embarass any President to pardon these 2 heros. Help this cause, Sir.

I wish this case was strictly about some innocent procedure that was not followed, but it is about much more. These agents reported that they had encountered a suspicious van followed it and the suspect fled across the border. I think we can all agree that leaving out the part where over a dozen shots were fired at another human being is more than a casual mistake(as was gathering and disposing of the shell casings). The shooting whether they new they hit him or not,was more important in my opinion than the van. I guess the agents could have driven the van across the border to get rid of it, but then again they felt that if they covered for each other they would be ok. I know that that last sentence was a bit brutal, but that would have been the final step in this coverup. I don't want our police officers, agents, or any official to ever get the idea that they have the right to hide crucial information from the people(even though it probably happens everyday). I think the smuggler belongs in the jail he is in, but lets agree that we should follow our own laws and punish those who abuse their power.
