The New Yorker Magazine, a liberal magazine's front cover this week, fueled the fires on the Internet, talk radio and opinion cable.

The cover of the new Yorker Magazine, artistically portrays excellent renderings of caricatures of our heroes Barrack and Michelle Obama as flag-burning, Osama bin Laden-honoring terrorists bumping fists in the Oval Office. I am a conservative but I must own a copy of this weeks magazine.

It offended many, including the putz John McCain. But as crude and offensive as it was? debatable I may add because i find this New Yorker issue a work of Art. .The cover was tame next to other Internet rot, not all of it aimed atObama. The ageism directed at John MyCane is prevalent, too.

No doubt political discourse will move on to the next outrage. But the New Yorker image's unintended consequence freshly exposed the cult of victimization so pervasive in American politics on at least three levels:

Obama's defenders railed against it as racist and offensive, and the image of Obama in Muslim clothing only reinforced the ill-gotten views of 12 percent of Americans who erroneously? think Obomber is a Muslim. You study in a madras's during the 6 formative years ...guess what, you are a muslim.

I'm concerned about how oil drilling could destroy Florida's $50-billion, tourist-driven economy and our fragile environment. I also believe drilling off Florida would place our nation's military readiness at risk, because it would interfere with military testing and training in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. Further, studies have shown there isn't enough oil in the Eastern Gulf or the Arctic Refuge to significantly impact supply, ease gas prices, or reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Instead, I believe we must develop a long-term energy strategy that will, among other things, reduce our dependency on foreign oil and our consumption of fossil fuels. I believe we can achieve this goal by raising the fuel economy of cars and trucks, providing incentives for the purchase of more flex-fuel and hybrid vehicles, and by increasing research and development into technologies like cellulose's ethanol as a renewable transportation fuel. Another way to lessen our nation's reliance on fossil fuels is to spur the development of renewable electrical power. Hahahahahahaha;

Regarding drilling off of Florida's coast and in other areas of the United States. Your wrong Mr. Nelson. You don't care about 4.00 (to be 15.00) a gallon of Gas. You are busy robbing the taxpayer plenty Gas for you, it is cheap for you. As the price of the gallon goes up so does your chances of voting you out of office.

Victory Over Jihad in Florida!!

The Central Florida chapter of the United American Committee uncovered a cultural Jihad happening within the Seminole County school system earlier this month. The UAC found out the public school system was allowing a group called A.L.I. (Academy for learning Islam) to speak in the classroom under a program called the Dividends Program & Speakers Bureau. A.L.I. moved its headquarters less than one year ago to Sanford, FL from Canada and has ties to Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

Upon investigation the U.A.C. of Central Florida uncovered information on their school infiltration plan and notified Eric Rasmussen of Chanel 9 News. Chanel 9 News aired the story speaking to parents, a School Board rep, and Hasnain Kassamali of A.L.I. The overwhelming response from students and parents alike were against the Academy For Learning Islam and their attempts at cultural indoctrination of unsuspecting students to the tenets of Islamic religious and political doctrine.

The Seminole County School Board admitted that A.L.I. missionaries wrongly presented Islam specific religious material in violation of separation of Church and State laws.

Equally unsettling, the three A.L.I. missionaries were never screened before being allowed access to the students in violation of the Dividends Programs safety rules.

The concerned parents and students provided information to the U.A.C. which included a PDF file of a history book that contained approximately 38 pages on Islam but only one each on Christians and Jews. The U.A.C. questions this blatant disregard for equal access when textbooks favor Islam over the other world religions.

540 AM WFLA radio talk show host Bud Heddinger spent one hour discussing the subject. Mr. Heddinger’s producer contacted A.L.I. to get their side of the story but nobody would agree to an interview.

BREAKING NEWS: The Academy For Learning Islam (A.L.I.) has been permanently removed the Dividends and Speaker’s Bureau programs of the Seminole County Public School System All the people who wrote emails, made phone calls, and spoke to the school board, your messages were heard loud and clear. This is a significant accomplishment removing A.L.I.s’ access to Seminole County students after repeatedly violating the school boards rules.
