Philippines Mall Explosion, Again

A powerful explosion ripped through three floors of a shopping mall in the heart of Manila's financial district Friday, killing eight people, injuring scores and sending police and troops on the highest state of alert.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said "circumstances indicate it is highly probable that it was caused by an explosive device." Brilliant observation, Ms. Arroyo, who is also paralysed by political correctness, although not quite as bad as our own President Bush and the politicians in the USA. The same mall was targeted by a bombing in 2000. Over 1722 Filipinos have been killed by muslims in the Philippines.

Add now 8 more and we are at 1730 dead. I do not know about there military numbers of casualties, but I am sure its right up there.
Mario Em, a taxi driver, said he had just dropped two women off at the mall when the blast hurled the passengers against his vehicle, killing them instantly. He said he pulled one of the victims, who was pregnant, from underneath his car. "One man who was in front of me was already dead. There was a child, but we don't know where the child is now," said Dennis Inigo, who was shopping at the time. People inside the mall scampered toward the exits when the blast shook the mall. People inside the mall scampered toward the exits when the blast shook the mall. "The man's wife was with me a while ago, and her leg was shattered. Many people were falling on top of each other," he said. "It was loud, and then it became dusty." The shock waves from the blast, which appeared to have originated from a basement entry for delivery vehicles, shot through three floors of the mall as well as sideways. It would have to be that way because in the Philippines, much to their credit, its virtually impossible to enter all shopping centers and malls without security intervention. I was frisked many times when I was there.

Al-Qaida-linked militants, who have waged a years long bloody bombing campaign in the southern Philippines, have targeted Manila before. huh? muslims have been killing Filipinos for over a century, what an understatement.

Makati city Councilor Jejomar Binay Jr. said a bombing at the same mall in May 2000 that wounded 13 people was the work of Muslim extremists. Five months later, five nearly simultaneous bombs around Manila blamed on the al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf and the Jemaah Islamiyah network killed 20 people and wounded about 100 others.

In 2004, Abu Sayyaf militants blew up a passenger ferry in Manila Bay, killing 116 people in the country's worst terrorist attack. The following year, four people were killed and dozens wounded when a bomb exploded on a Makati bus and two southern cities. Several months ago, authorities were alerted to an alleged terror plot to plant bombs in Manila's business districts of Makati and Ortigas, said a government counterterrorism official. The Philippines is in high gear on the global jihadist mentality.

I have nothing but the deepest sorrow for the people of the Philippines. My prayers are with them as they morn there dead.

I have been in Makati and I felt more safe in the Philippines, with all of there security, than I do in the shopping Malls in the USA. I saw police and security everywhere. I love the Philippines its a fun place.

Dream Act...Terminated by the Terminator

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger issued a series of vetoes on various bills — and in so doing dashed the hopes of student activists who have been pushing to make it easier for undocumented students to obtain financial aid.
Last year, when Schwarzenegger vetoed legislation that would have allowed some undocumented students to apply for state financial aid. Advocates for immigrant students hoped that that change would make a difference and held rallies around the state on behalf of the bill.
But the governor’s position did'nt change. He stayed true to form. They don't call Arnold, the "terminator" for nothing. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, did the right thing. He obliterated, the budget perforator, money eradicator, illegal elevator, "in state tuition" bonanza for illegals. I note that the Supreme court ruled against these kind of bills in the past as illegal. In state tuition is for all not all for one.

Supporters of the legislation noted that there are about 25,000 students who graduate from California high schools each year without documentation to stay in the United States or the right to federal student aid that is essential for many low-income students to afford tuition and other expenses. However, conservatives have been urging the governor to veto the bill.

The vetoed legislation is known as the DREAM Act, modeled on other state bills and a federal bill whose acronym stands for Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors. (Democrats in Congress are hoping to attach the federal bill to other legislation, but have been stymied of late in doing so.

Muslim incognito, Sen. Barack Obama, a presidential campaign stop in California last month, said that failing to sign the bill would “compound the immigration crises by driving thousands of children who are on the right path into the shadows.” Hahahaha, wow, that's TO BAD, WE THE PEOPLE WANT THEM TO GET OUT OF THE SHADOWS, AND GO HOME, OH OH OH OBAMA.

Pro-DREAM groups were quick to criticize the veto and to vow to bring the bill back next year. “The governor has just bowed to the racist wing of the Republican Party. California needs a larger and more diverse workforce to prosper and we can’t continue to relegate Latinos to second class status,” said Yvette Felarca, Northern California coordinator of the Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration and Immigrant Rights and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary.

STANDARD CRAP, BOWING to the racist wing of the Republican Party...PARDON ME. IF YOU COME HER LEGALLY, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT relegating ILLEGAL Latinos to second class status...they would be first class legal ones. Case and point...Puerto Ricans.

Michael Savage For President in 2008! why not?

Michael Savage for President,

I read this week of our military software for sale to United Arab Emirates conglomerate.

I read a story about NAFTA superhighway that no one admits to but is actually moving along briskly. I read about a sellout to legalize 30 million Mexican aliens here amongst us. We have a brisk economy but my friend cannot find a job. Gas is 2.80 a gallon while we have a war "for oil". . Everything at the grocer is up 20 cents higher. Eight lying people running for president in 2008. Distressing to hear that the probability is Hillary versus Rudy in 2008, no anti emetic can save me if that happens.

Don't be fooled by the pretentious commanders and chief, says Jerry Doyle. Hillary Clinton Barrack Ba ma, John Edwards, who have no clue at to the War effort until there elected. However I don't see much difference on the Republican side either. It is no better there.

As a child I watched Disney movies that portrays magpies and vultures as real estate agents and politicians. The

2008 election reminds me of those cartoons. Look at Mitt Romney, Rudy Juliani, so polished so about face on issues that now are haunting there candidacy. Quite honest, except for Duncan Hunter I see no one I trust or believe in except for someone who is not running.

I would vote for Michael Savage if he ran.`Why? Michael Savage in 13 years of talk radio is what he presents himself to be. A conservative and a true conservative. He truly believes in the greatness of our nation. He argues for language borders and culture, and he means it.

We need someone who is not a lawyer. We need to be spared of the magpies we have shining the bull just to get your vote and after elected do as they please. We need truth, facts, and we need to protect ourselves by people who are what they say they are...do you want proof. 20,000,000 votes for Michael Savage to run have been realized, and why?

If Michael Savage was president, things would be happening.

1. The wall in the south would be finished in a year.

2. The war in Iraq would abruptly come to a halt, after the shackles are removed from our military.

3. For some inexplicable reason, our unwelcome illegal aliens would become visitors on the way back home.

4. Sanctuary cities would become an endangered species.

5. The Right of Free Speech would be secure.

6. Marriage will be exclusive to men and women.

7. Our Image in the world will be favorable...don't mess with the USA.

8. He would be a terrific Commander and chief.

9. He would probably go down in history as one of our greatest Presidents.

I disagree with Rusty Humphries, who thinks Michael Savage is not presidential material and should remain a talk show host.
Well, what is Presidential material? After George Bush eight years of, lying, stuttering, bungling, and at times apologizing for his very existence we could all use a break. Only the war against Islamo Facism can I credit him with and that we have not been attacked again.
However I argue that the southern border the way it is I give more credit to God above and Jesus Christ than to George Bush. THANK GOD1 that we have not sustained another spectacular attack on our soil. All in all if George Bush can be president, so could anyone else. I argue why not Michael Savage.
I think Mike Savage would live up to his oath of Office and do whatever it takes to protect America. Even if it hurts the feelings of special interests, the United States would gain SOME OF self respect. Something we have lost lately, along with our sovereignty, civilization, dignity and our pride.

Are These People Normal? You've Got To be Kidding?

To Quote Mike Savage the famous Talk Show "Liberalism iiiisssss a mental disorder". Simply put, this nonsense mirrors the absurdity of respecting homosexuality. People want to include these clowns as "protected", under new laws being pushed in congress for hate speech regarding homosexuals. These jesters really think they are "NORMAL" AND THE REST OF US HAVE TO KISS THERE ASSES. I call as i see it! San Francisco! its hard to believe that this is a city in the United States. Shame on the people in San Francisco who are paying valuable taxpayer dollars on the idiots running government and allow there waste of the tax dollar. From the taxpayer sex change operations to the condemnation of a talk show hosts, all the San Francisco government does, is make waste. Think about it San Francisco condemns Mike Savage for saying the facts as they are, and at the same time, the truth is they are trying to stifle free speech.

Mike Savage stirs controversy because the truth hurts, period. The City of San Francisco ruling that Mike Savage' right of self expression is "hate Speech" will go the way of the Scot tissue. Mr Savage is and always will be a High Priest of Talk Radio.

Are these people normal? Should they be Protected?

War in the Philippines, the Mindanao that once was

Mong Palatino is crying in Mindanao. War is raging in the island of Basilan, located in the southernmost part of the Philippines. An all-out war was recently declared by the government against the Abu Sayyaf bandit group accused of beheading 14 Marines last month. The military offensives have displaced thousands of families and imperiled the peace negotiations between the government and other Muslim rebel forces.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo instructing soldiers not to expose the innocent civilians to danger. RG Cruz Blogs muses on “terrorism journalism”. President Arroyo understands the nature of the beast.
“Beneath the surface of poverty, the island is teeming with richness in culture and heritage. I find it difficult to watch soldiers on TV romping around the place. How can Basilan even reclaim its untainted name? How can it spring back from the images of war attached to it, when its people’s attempts to slowly regain peace is thwarted? What bothers me the most is how major TV networks are insidiously turning all these events into a circus”. Maybe this guy does but we in America do not see it as a circus.

Ka-Blog! (who is the authority?) provides a simple description of the armed groups operating in Basilan:

“There are four armed groups in that area now. One is an armed bandit group which was put up by veterans of the Afghanistan War of Liberation and was originally trained and equipped by the US Armed Forces (Abu Sayyaf). (THIs is outright lying}, Another is a revolutionary force fighting for their ancestral domains (MILF and MNLF). (Trying to secede from the Philippines). Still another is a national armed force which is being equipped, trained and directed by a foreign armed force (Government troops). The last is of course the foreign armed force which has no business being in the middle of all these but is there nonetheless (US troops)”. (Invited by the Philippines to quell the unrest) a mere ally of the Philippines.

The Patsada Karajaw Nation on the possible relationship between the war in Basilan and US military aid:
“A war with the said terror groups ensures the continuous pouring of military aid from the United States. Not only that, our government seems to have offered a promo to the Americans. In exchange for much needed military aid, the government extended additional perks to the Americans by providing them “temporary” structures in Mindanao which allow some of its personnel to stay in the country in between joint military exercises. This violates the Constitutional provision against the establishment of foreign military bases here. This sell out however is part of the survival mode of the fake President.” This blogger is full of crap.

In and out of season condemns the ambush of 14 Marines. Underside ponders on the perceived weaknesses of the military:

“First of all, the burning question that everyone wants to be answered is this: How in the world were the Marines ambushed, given that the government forces were supposed to be greater in number and better equipped? Answer: The following boo-boos were committed by the AFP itself: (1) The ammunition provided to the soldiers were defective and (2) the government troops were not able to receive assistance from air pilots because of bad radio frequency”.
Uniffors is happy over the extra pay for soldiers but recommends “better leadership, up to date equipment, and ammunition that actually works so that those soldiers can live long enough to enjoy their extra pay”

A senator through the blog Magdalo para sa Pagbabago has an allegation:
“I have received very serious insider information that ranking officials of the government, specifically of the executive department, had a direct hand in feeding our own military to the enemies of the State that led to the tragic death of the 14 members of the Philippine Marine Corps.”

Lovingarkin’s blog supports the all-out war and explains why. Caught you on camera gives a “snappy salute” to all Marines who died in Basilan. Bottled mourns the death of a young hero. My cover story is a college friend of a young Marine who died in Basilan. Cakes and ale is a friend of another fallen Marine. “As a mother I cried in pain…this shouldn't’t happen if only our government peace negotiating panel meant a serious dialogue to seek peace. This bloodbath is absurd! Violence seeking and correcting violence?! The panel should take a back seat and try to look for others who can truly understand the inner dilemma and give us a good answer to these horrible acts that keep on making their trails.”

Ellen Tordesillas, describing the Arroyo government as ‘regime of insecurity’ speculates on the possible objectives of the renewed offensives in Basilan:I am amazed that this blogger blames the government of Arroyo for the 14 deaths and beheading of ten marines.

Astonishing that they have the same blowhards in the Philippines we have in our own congress. Reminds me of the United States democrats, calling this war against Islamo fascists...Bush's War. Liberalism is rampant in Mindanao.
Some people are in denial. The facts speak for themselves. Its the same style everywhere, from Iraq, to Iran, Syria to Lebenon, from Palestine to Russia and then to India turn and go to the Philippines and to the USA and the very latest to Thailand.
Mong Palatino, you don't get it, This is about Islam. The marines were looking for the kidnapped Italian priest Giancarlo Bossi and were returning back to their base in the rain when MILF gun men ambushed and killed them, a fact they proclaimed and admitted on their website.
You hate the Philippines and the United States and are a militant muslim sympathiser, you are on the side that is destined to loose.

Forget the Mindanao you once knew, just like I try to forget the World Trade Center I once knew.
